Founded in 1932, the Angelantoni Industrie Group today includes 4 production/logistics units in Italy and 4 branches for the sale and servicing of ACS products in France, Germany, India and China, with a total of 400 employees by 2022 and a turnover of 80 M Euros.
The Angelantoni Test Technologies sub-holding also includes: Kenosistec, which designs and manufactures high vacuum thin film deposition systems (PVD coating technologies); Aerre Service, which provides maintenance and technical assistance for Angelantoni Test Technologies in Northern Italy. Angelantoni Test Technologies has a total of 350 employees and a turnover of 75 M Euro by 2023.
Angelantoni Industrie Holding, with approximately 25 employees, also has minority interests in: Angelantoni Life Science (ALS) manufacturer of biomedical refrigeration equipment; TurboAlgor, which offers solutions for energy recovery in industrial refrigeration plants.
Angelantoni Industrie still retains 100% of Archimede Solar Energy, manufacturer of receiver tubes for thermodynamic solar energy, whose production is being considered for resumption.

It all started with the Great Depression of 1929 when Giuseppe Angelantoni, born in 1904 in the small town of Massa Martana, lost his job as a refrigerator factory worker in Milan.
Having no lack of initiative and insight, in 1932 he decided to set up on his own, starting a small repair company for what were the first cold appliances.
HEREDITY
“Rather than a real company, the ‘plant,’ if we really want to call it that, consisted of his motorcycle and the tools he always carried with him.”
Gianluigi Angelantoni, 74, one of the sons of the founder of the technological empire with branches in France, Germany, India and China, thus remembers his father.
Almost 90 years later, the enterprise continues to be projected towards the future. It ranges – as can be truly emphasized – from vacuum simulation machines to healthcare; from precision mechanics to the automotive industry; from industrial applications of particle physics, to improvements for everyday utensils. “Let’s say we are always looking for new ideas,” continues Angelantoni, “our watchword is innovation.”
ENVIRONMENT
“Respect for the environment is testified by a prominent sign at the entrance to the Cimacolle plant with words that, translated into English, read: ‘Low CO2 impact plant: with a 370 kilowatt photovoltaic system and a 2 megawatt biomass plant, thus avoiding the releasing of 319 thousand kilograms of CO2 into the atmosphere.’” (Ed. ASTRONAUTS
“ESA astronauts Samantha Cristoforetti and Roberto Vittori paid a visit to the factory some time ago, given its “space” inclinations. Later, Roberto Battiston, president of the ASI, experienced firsthand the excellence of the Group’s productions. Nobel Prize winner Carlo Rubbia also had the opportunity to interact with the Group. Until 1988, the technological excellence of Angelantoni “topped out” at an altitude of 10,000 meters. Since that time, the company has grown and has aimed higher and higher.”
