ACS walk-in test chambers for photovoltaic module testing have been installed in the laboratory of TÜV Rheinland Solar GmbH in Cologne.

TÜV Rheinland in Cologne is using no.2 ACS walk-in WZH21-70150 chambers to test PV modules according to many international standards
TÜV Rheinland Solar GmbH has confirmed ACS as a partner for conducting photovoltaic module testing using two 21 m³ environmental test chambers, which meet the following specific requirements:
- Thermal cycling tests: MQT 11 of standard IEC 61215-2:2021
- Humidity-freeze tests: MQT 12 of standard IEC 61215-2:2021
- Damp heat tests: MQT 13 of standard IEC 61215-2:2021
- PID - Potential induced degradation test: MQT 21 of standard IEC 61215-2:2021
- Material creep tests: MST 37 of standard IEC 61730-2:2023
- Cold conditioning: MST 55 of standard IEC 61730-2:2023
- Dry heat conditioning: MST 56 of standard IEC 61730-2:2023
- Bypass Diode tests MST 25 of standard IEC 61730-2:2023
- LeTid - Light and elevated Temperature Induced Degradation of standard 2 PfG 2689:2021-09
The two ACS WZH21-70150 chambers enable TÜV Rheinland Solar GmbH in Cologne to perform temperature cycling and climatic testing of photovoltaic modules under extreme environmental conditions.
Technical specifications:
- Temperature range: from -70°C to +150°C
- Test load: up to 1000 kg of PV modules
- Humidity range: from 10% to 95% RH at +10°C to +90°C
- Test chamber dimensions (W × D × H): 2,200 × 3,700 × 2,600 mm
