Angelantoni Test Technologies' contribution to the ITER nuclear fusion project keeps going forward

9/25/2020

Works continue on the Neutral Beam Test Facility hosted by Consorzio RFX, Padua, Italy.
MITICA and SPIDER  are two experiments which will produce new knowledge for ITER- the biggest international fusion project. Europe’s participation is co-ordinated by Fusion for Energy (F4E).

SPIDER (Source for Production of Ion of Deuterium Extracted from Radio frequency plasma) entered into operation in June 2018. Click here for info and images covering the inauguration of the experiment.

MITICA (Megavolt ITER Injector & Concept Advancement) is the 1:1 scale prototype of an ITER injector, and the completion of its implementation phase is expected by end of February 2021.
As for SPIDER, Angelantoni Test Technologies is now contributing also for MITICA to the gas storage and distribution, vacuum and gas injection systems.
